Please note that Parkside has two scheduled “snow days” built into the calendar. In most cases, decisions regarding weather-related school closings/delays are made by the Mahopac Central School District.

In the event that more than two emergency closure days are needed, Parkside Preschool will move to distance learning. On those days, teachers will utilize Google Classroom to post activities for students to engage in. Activities may include virtual group assignments, individualized virtual assignments, daily living skills, printed tasks, fine motor tasks, and Zoom lessons.

Therapies will be offered virtually or made-up in person, as possible, per parent preference.
